Tournament Manager
Salary circa £27,000 - £28,000 per annum

Our championship team run in excess of 70 events a year between the months of April to September. As one of two tournament managers within the team, you will manage, organise and deliver national tournaments and events for club golfers, as well as assisting tournament director staff at key national championships for amateur golfers playing at the elite level. We pride ourselves on providing first-class events for our golfers and you will play an important part in delivering this.
Following growth, we are looking for someone to join the team who has:
- An ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- The ability to work to deadlines.
- The ability to use and learn a range of computer software programs including Golf Genius software.
- Knowledge of amateur golf.
- An understanding of the rules of golf.
- A basic understanding of the World Handicap System (WHS?).
The role will require regular levels of physical effort.
The post is full-time and works variable hours during the tournament season of April to September, with a four-day working week between October and March. You must be prepared to travel and work evenings and weekends, throughout the tournament season.
The position is based at England Golf Headquarters, The National Golf Centre, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6PU and the successful applicant will be expected to travel to deliver events.
